Pistachio Nut Butter - Instead of store bought Peanut Butter Substitute - Totally different
Dry roasted pistachios (approx 2 cups)
Ground flax seed
You need a food processor to make this and a coffee grinder to grind the flax seeds
I use a small coffee grinder and grind the flax seed in that.
I donít buy nuts that have been roasted with oil those contain Hydrogenated Oil.
Put 1 or 2 cups of dry-roasted Pistachios (SHELLED) into the food processor
Add some Stevia to your taste
About 2 minutes
When the texture seems right add in a couple tablespoons of the ground flax seed
Once the ground flaxseed is totally blended in
Now run the processer and slowly add in a small amount of coconut oil (not too much or your butter will be runny
Jar and refrigerate.
I don't eat bread regularly, I eat this with a banana or celery sticks
