On a mission

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

It's been awhile since I last blogged but I am doing well and holding strong. I'm on a mission today to buy sausage and peppers. My daughter is having a gathering on Sat and asked me to make a tray of this. I don't mind cooking so I agreed.

I bought a new top on line that will be coming this week. It has a shelf bra built into it. I've never had a shelf bra before except in bathing suits. I thought I would take a chance with this as its sleeveless and it being so hot, I can wear it around the house if it doesn't look nice enough to go out in. I'm ashamed of my bat wing, wrinkled upper arms too but I have a cute little bolero crocheted sweater, lite weight to put over it for when I'm around people other than my hubby. I've been using weights to help my arms but no amount of exercise is going to take away my stretched out skin, lol. It's a good thing I'm not a vain person as I wouldn't get surgery for this.

Surely, yours don"t look any worse than mine. I don't give a flying flip what anyone else thinks about my clothes choice or how much fat/flab is showing!

I have got to the point where I wear anything I want. If my arms are too flabby and my legs are to fat for some one to look at in shorts and tank top............well just darn well look away!

I spent far too many years too darned hot for the worry of what people think when they see what I am wearing. I remember as a fat teen swimming in my jeans and tee shirt so that no one would see my fat legs and body...jeans weigh a ton when they are wet! It sure made me a better swimmer doing that but looking back...how silly. Everyone still knew

So bat wings and all I am out and about wearing tank tops or shells and shorts and no longer worry what others think and feel about seeing any skin of my body

Dont worry so much about it hon! You are losing your weight, you are looking mighty fine and healthy, be proud of your self. I know you wear a bathing suit out in public so why worry about a top?Enjoy being comfortable!

I'm sure that if you are consistent and keep at it, your arms will get into shape. It takes time and patience as well as hard work. Just remember that they didn't get that way overnight so it will take a little while for you to see the results you are aiming for.
