back down already

I think we all know this kind of story... I started slipping upwards on the scale before going to visit my parents in NC for a week. My parents are overweight, sedentary, snackers.... and I came back with a few pounds more than I left with.

I was 186 when I left town, maybe hit 189.9 while gone, 188.4 on Sunday, 185.8 Monday, 184.4 yesterday, and 183.4 today. Yes, in just a few days of careful eating, I'm already back to where I was a few weeks before going out of town, but I still need to drop another 10-15 pounds.

I love Spark People so much that when I'm on here, I neglect other things. I need to find a balance. And I need to remind myself that I'd rather have a healthy body than chips/crackers/chocolate/chees
e... A little of those is good, but not too much. Balance. Maybe I should write that on my hand so I don't forget. Maybe I should get off the computer and go to work. LOL

    Wonderful job putting the brakes on that weight. We seem to be on pace with each other. I need to get 10.6 off for a return to running speed. emoticon emoticon
