Not many people can say to you: Oh, I did that perfectly. What matters most is the progress we make. Each day, each week, weigh-in... whatever your goals you are measuring. You have to be "in tune" with your body, with how you feel or how that shirt "fits" in order to measure the progress you make. I do not recommend using the scale as your only way to measure weight loss. See how your clothes fit, or how you feel today compared to yesterday...
I will say: I am doing a 30 day program. I have noticed changes in me in just 3 days! The key is to be consistant. I may not hit all the moves at the same time as the exercisers in the video, but what I do try is to keep at it everyday, to take a quick break to catch up on my breathing, and to get right back at it as soon as I can!
I also try not to think about exercising... I just do it because the more time I spend on thinking about it, the less apt I am to get up and get moving. I can't wait till tomorrow. It will be day 4 for me in my program. And especially the next day after that. .. It will be day 5 and Jillian does make a remark in the video stating that day 5 gets a little easier. So keep your head up, try and try again, fake it till you make it...and keep on marching forward!!
