So, I'm only about 5 pounds from my first goal (100 pounds down), and it's only taken 7 months. But last week something interesting happened. I noticed on Tuesday I was feeling a little run down and light headed. It wasn't a problem when I was working out, but as I would relax, I'd start feeling it more and more. So after a couple of days of feeling like this, I call a pharmacist friend of mine and got my reason. It was my High Blood Pressure Medicine. She told me to stop taking it and go see my doctor, which I did this morning. And then I get good news. It was the medication. I've lost enough weight to not need to take it anymore. The medicine was causing my blood pressure to drop too low. It wasn't a problem when I got my heart rate up while working out, just when I was sitting around doing nothing. This is the best news I've heard in a long time. Now on to that 100 pound goal, and the massage I'm going to treat myself to when I make it.
