Back to "Bite it, Write it!"

Tuesday, July 09, 2013

I know that everyone has setbacks. I got a wake-up call this week when I had to go out and purchase a pair of Large scrub pants for work. I have been in size mediums for over a year now, and now I worry about splitting the back of the pants out when I sit because they are so tight.

I have been "comfortable" for quite some time now apparently. Comfort = weight gain for me. Being "comfortable" also means that I *think* I know what I am doing with my eating habits and therefore don't have to log my food.

Geesh, am I ever going to get this right?

It's black and white for me. If I track, I lose. If I don't, I gain. If I wait, I forget some items. There's just no substitute that I've found. I also think a home food scale is nearly indispensable here, and I recently bought a cheapie ($14 Walmart) for the too-abundant office treats.

You know what to do. If you nibble, you scribble! Good luck going forward!
