Yay! I am on a streak for sure! I have moved 9 days in a row now! I logged on to SP earlier today and realized if I got 68 fitness minutes in I would get my 250 minutes award. So I thought that was just the challenge I needed to get moving. I did get on the treadmill earlier with the intent of doing about 20 minutes on there (usual) and then do some Wii Fit and later my walk with hubby to get in the 68 minutes. Well, I got to walking on that treadmill and reading a new book and the next thing I knew I had walked 37 minutes! emoticon And I felt great! Reading the book on the treadmill is definitely the way for me!

So I am feeling pretty good until I make the mistake of sitting down and the afternoon slump hits me. I started making my excuses as to why I wouldn't finish the 68 minutes today. However, after dinner and yet another rain I went for a walk with hubby and then did a little Wii Fit to get my minutes in! emoticon

Breakfast: whole wheat biscuit, scrambled eggs, milk
Lunch: greek yogurt with flaxseed, banana, 2 of those little popsicles
Dinner: salad, pierogies (ate too many)
Dessert:...Nope! Not hungry! Not tempted cause I didn't fix anything for the kids!

Self reflection and accountability: I am so happy that I did not give in to the excuses and skip the rest of my exercise! I feel so much better when I am up and moving! I think setting goals for my fitness minutes may be a huge key to my success. Food wise I still need to do a better job. I think planning ahead would help me a lot.

    Fabulous!! I love listening to podcasts while I walk -- get my entertainment in -- and they are things my husband and kids have no interest in.
