My Mistake

Tuesday, July 09, 2013

emoticon Yep, I did it again. Was on hole #3 playing golf at our home course today in a group of four, when suddenly I remember I had not picked up the "Flex" Fitbit to attach to my pocket. emoticon I was able to to get it after the first nine holes because I live next door to the clubhouse. In the back nine I had 3500 steps , so, I'm sure I would have gotten the 10,000 steps in by end of day. However at the end of day I am only showing 5,285.

I did some strength training to end the day so all is well, at last. emoticon emoticon

Honestly the only time I take mine off is to shower! Have the fitbit 1 so I can track sleep. Am guessing you would easily have gone over 10k!

Oh! My mother-in-law (also an avid golfer) washed her Fit Bit last week! She is still beating her daughter in daily steps, though!

I hate when that happens! Left my BodyMedia band at home today as I walked to the dentist. On the way home, all I could think about was all the steps I wasn't recording. :( Hope you at least had a great round! Can't wait until I get to golf again.

Well now, let's see.... What did you hit on the front nine? If I were playing, I'd get my 10,000 steps in by the 3rd or 4th hole, with so many trips into the woods looking for my ball. However, you being the golfer that you are, you probably shot par and had minimal extra steps! You're gonna hafta choose, Melrie, a good day on the links, or 10,000 steps!
