Sometimes exercise really pays off.
My husband and I usually chat once while I'm at work each day since we work really different schedules. Usually I step outside my office so as to not bother my coworkers while I take a personal call, and I just stand outside. Well, today I decided to take a walk around the building and get a tiny bit of exercise in.
I walked by another company's door and found a baggie of money! Not a huge amount, just a couple of bucks, but cash is cash.
Being a good person and all, I went into the other business and asked if it had been left out for any particular reason, but no one claimed it. So now I'm the proud new owner of $7. That's not getting me far and it's not like I *need* it or anything, but I couldn't help but smile about the idea of exercise really paying. Haha =)
With that said, despite waking up feeling "skinny", I only lost .2 pounds this week - exercise didn't actually pay off in that respect. If there was a race for the slowest weight loss, I'd totally win. But slow and steady is totally going to win this race.
