First Bog ...I am suppose to rate my day with a stress journal

Tuesday, July 09, 2013

Energy level ..maybe a 3 a bit of get-up-and –go but not so much. emoticon

Stress level: that one is a 5-I have an elderly parent -who doesn't want anyone outside of the family (Me Only) to help her- even though I am about an hour’s drive from her she says she will sit in her home until I come and take her to doctors. So, yep! I am a 5! emoticon

Quality of sleep: My normal sleep pattern for the past few years has been up and down all night never really sleeping well, ever. So that is a 4 emoticon

Self-Esteem today…3 stressful conversations don’t help this one. I did do my yoga . emoticon

I too am concerned for you with that stress level and you sleep deficit; you definitely need to get involved in some SP teams like the sleep challenge. You really need to take care of yourself before you need a care giver. Our bodies can take only so much before something gives!

Firstly, kudos to you for being brave enough to share your ratings! I do my ratings on a weekly basis, but privately -- you're strong for sharing them.

I've also been a caregiver for a family member. I can understand your mom only wanting family involved, but you need to take care of yourself in order to take care of someone else. With your stress level at a 5, you can only maintain that for so long, so please don't be afraid to let your mom know you can't do it alone. Your sanity deserves to be intact! =)
