Well, I was going to blog back in December...that obviously didn't work. But here I am again! I did reach my WW goal of 127 lbs. in March. I've been stuck at 124 to 126 lbs. I would really love to get down to 120 lbs. but I don't know if I can.
What do I do? Swimming, 3 times a week, 30 minutes, laps. Walking...I don't drive, so I walk 1/4 mile to the bus stop. If I have to wait for a bus, I walk while I wait, 10 to 15 minutes. Walk my dogs (not very fast...they sniff and piddle a lot). Lunch walks...3 days a week, 20 to 30 minutes at a good clip. If it's cool, on Sundays I walk 3-4 miles at a fast clip at the beach or in a park. Weights once a week (I'd like to up it to 2 times, but hard to get to gym in the evening). Gardening has been BIG this month...weed pulling, hoeing, pruning bushes, cutting back ivy, raking, spreading mulch, turning the compost...3 to 4 hours each weekend, a 1/2 a day the rest of the time. Running at work a lot...doing stairs (2 flights) 3 times a day, plus lots of errands.
My body seems to have reached a static point. I can't eat much less (most days are 1400 to 1500 calories; splurge days are 1900 (Mondays...cookies at a meeting I attend) and Fridays (2000 calories, dinner out).
I feel good! I can lift bags of mulch and wrestle them around the yard. I can walk for miles and I have a ton of energy, more than I had when I was much younger. But I would like to loose that little bulge around the middle and I'm running out of ideas how to do it.
