I made it through the first week of vacation by sticking to my plan. I did make some questionable decisions on gas station snacks (Slim Jims in particular), but I did not eat sugar or refined carbs.
I only lost about a pound so far. I am almost as a grand total of 20 pounds lost since the beginning. I am still hoping to get to 210 by the end of vacation on July 23. This might be a far-fetched goal, but I am going to do all I can to achieve it! I will stick to my diet plan, reduce the amount of cheese I eat, stay off the Slim Jims, boogie to the Phish shows (as I have been), be less lazy by setting up our campsite and loading the car between travel locations, and walking extra when possible.
I will not overindulge. I only did this twice in the last week, which is an accomplishment for me. I am really hoping to begin the school year less than 200. It has been two years since I was under 200. It only lasted a day or two though. Before that, I haven't been at a healthy weight since 2007. I am really looking forward to meeting my goals this time by doing things differently and utilizing this site for accountability.
