I went to get a few things at Walmart yesterday and ended up staying a little longer than I wanted to. So I missed lunch altogether, forgot that I had already eaten my granola bar in my purse, so it being 4:00, decided to stop by Chickfila. I hadn't had that in forever. So I just got a regular chickfila sandwich and cole slaw, thinking that would be a good choice (yes I should have got a grilled one). HAH! When I got home, I checked the two on their website and between them there was almost 800 calories. It put me way over on fat and because I skipped a meal, was way under on protein and fiber. When you start eating healthy, you need to stay eating healthy. It is so easy to slip back into bad habits. Then by 8:30, 9:00, I was ready to eat and it was difficult not to eat every quick food that I had in the house. Will NOT do that again. I need to go prepared just in case. What I should have done is grabbed a yogurt and a banana at the grocery store. I am not big on salads, I do like Chickfila's salads, but I dislike vinaigrettes and their regular salad dressings are really high in calories, fat, etc. Good thing is, my "bad me" and "good me" were at war yesterday and I think the "good me" won out because I didn't eat and eat and eat at night like I wanted to!
My "procrastinator me", though, has won out today because I didn't get up in time to get showered and to the driver's license place early, so I am putting off going until tomorrow. It's not that I don't want to get my new license and tag, I just hate spending that money!!
