Feeling Fabulous

I feel good today. Yesterday I made the decision to make a change. I was doing Weight Watchers Online for about a year and realized it just wasn't for me. Too many things to calculate and worry about. I always needed the damn calculator on hand at not to mention it seemed to never work at the store when I needed it *sigh* Plus WW Mobile wouldn't even work on my phone.

I did good eating. Went over Calories by a few hundred though. Damn you Ice Cream. Thank Gawd there is no more in the house. But I a got a good 45 minute work out in the pool. Didn't do laps because of my headache but did a bunch of exercises and boy did I work my legs and abs....whew. I even slept pretty darn good.

I'm feeling motivated thus far today but I'm only 3 1/2 hours intoit so let's hope it continues.

    I tried WW before and it didn't really work for me either, but I sometimes still have that "points" concept in my mindset when I'm making food choices, but its not usually a bad thing- it just puts things in a way that makes it easier (is this (insert food) worth the calories (or points)? I've added you as a friend on here- feel free to add me as well! Let me know how I can be a support to you!

    This made me laugh out loud! I just posted a comment on someone's blog who just started WW and liked it because the points were easier for her to figure out than calories alone! Just goes to show that it's all relative and what works for one doesn't necessarily work for the next person.

One thing I love the most about staying permanently low carb is that it makes food decisions pretty easy. If something has more than just a couple of carbs I probably won't eat it.

    I use My Fitness Pal on my phone to track food, water, exercise etc. I love it! As you lose weight it changes the amount of calories you are allowed to take in. Also it has a scanner so you can just scan the barcode to get the nutritional information you need! Oh and it's free!!! emoticon
