Hmmmm. where to start?? Friday after work I drove my friend to the airport. On the way home me and Buster stopped at a park for a nice walk! :) It was fun!
I saw this incredible sunset on the way home!
I got home around 8:30 in the evening and me and my boyfriend had plans to watch the fireworks and walk the waterfront. Well he was fast asleep when I got home (tennis tired him out) I was disappointed of course but decided not to let it ruin my night. So I put Buster to bed and went myself. I walked the waterfront and ended up running into some friends, watched the fireworks and had one beer (oops!)
I'm glad I made the best of it, and I did lots of walking Friday and had a good run friday morning so it was overall an active day!!
Saturday morning I went to watch my friend in her dragon boat tournament, it was really cool!
Saturday evening my bf wanted to BBQ (bacon cheeseburgers of course!) but I opted for making chicken kabobs!
I was proud for resisting the delicious bacon cheeseburger, but I just couldn't turn down the blueberry ice cream :( Or the beer we sat and had on the deck afterwards and talked the evening away together, blah. I had a small portion of ice cream though, and stopped after one beer! Weekends are tough sometimes. As much as I did try to stay on track there seems to always be a little something. At least I didn't throw in the towel completely.
Sunday morning me and Buster hit the dusty trails! We got up early (6:30 am) to try and beat the heat but it was still 25 at that hour! We had record breaking heat here this weekend, it was crazy!! We still had fun!
Sunday evening I made a big batch of homemade chicken/brown rice/veggies/green curry for lunches!!
Because I ran Sunday I slept in Monday. I weighed in Monday morning and was disappointed to see 178.4 :( I know I had beer twice on the weekend, and ice cream twice too! We also had record breaking heat and as much as I tried to keep my water up I still knew I was swollen from the insane heat. I had a really good nutrition day yesterday and it rained and the heat broke so I decided to weigh in again this morning and it was down to 177.0! Quite a difference one day made there!
This morning me and Buster got up again for our morning run! Beautiful sunrise!

This morning I had a banana/almond butter/ 1/2 of a whole wheat wrap for post workout 245 cal
breakfast, granola, yogurt, blueberries, raspberries 216 cal
Mid morning I had a coffee (just milk!) and a go pure Mayan Dark Chocolate Spiced! 142 cal
For lunch I'm having my green chicken curry 431 cal
Afternoon snack will be an apple 72 cal
And I made this for dinner last night and will have leftovers tonight, halibut, sweet potatoes and edamame!! YUM and only 270 cal!
So my total calories today are 1376! I know it's a bit higher than 1200 but I did run this morning and I walk a ton to and from work so I'm okay with that!!
