Well, it hasnt been as good of progress as I wish I could report - but overall I am not too upset.
I started at 141 and weighed in last week at 134.8. Not spectacular but still a loss. I am making changes in my lifestyle (choosing healthier foods, exercising even when I have visitors over for the holidays, etc.) but I am really really nervous about vacation. I know that if I put my mind to it I will be able to get exercise in (especially walking around and sightseeing) but it is the food I am worried about. Germany is the heaven of good bread and beer... and my grandparents cooking - and that is like a recipe for yummyness/disaster!!! Plus we are spending about 3 days in New York City and the people we are staying with are like "we are going to sightsee, and eat food, and eat more food, and sightsee, and eat more food...." OMG...! Terrifying!
BUT - I just have to try and stick to my guns and make healthy choices.
I am so proud of my Slim Gyms team for sticking with everything. Each week I see a lot of people dropping out which is discouraging in a way, but there are so many people who are frequenting the forums, checking in, and keeping accountable which I absolutely love and appreciate. I couldnt do this without their support!
Need to drink more water and get more sleep (and replace energy drinks with water) but I just feel like with work, school, packing, wedding planning, etc. there is not enough time in the day to get things done!
Here's to making more healthy lifestyle changes in the next weeks of this challenge!!!
