I am back - got back late this past weekend.

Tuesday, July 09, 2013

Good Morning; I am back and have so much to do. DS had an episode with a deep depression and he called. I had to talk to him long distance. It went on for three days. Luckily it happened within our departure of three days to US. DD was in SF and on a tram to her flight with SIL when she saw the plane crash and saw the flames and smoke. She sent our texts and wanted to make sure we were ok. She did not relax until we landed on in our home town. I am now in the process of trying to work through this process and get DS help. He is now out of the Army. Each day he gets mail- from VA. some of the letters are so mind boggling - yesterday one said that he does not quality for medical benefits - he makes too much money. His income is not even proverty level at this point. Trip was great. DH and I got close again. We are going to try not to lose it. But the stressors are all ready coming at us. I will be on again but have so much to do - have to get off computer. Love you all.!!!!!

Welcome back and tell your DS to keep trying and to reapply. Don't give up as there are benefits he should be eligible for. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Oh my gosh . . . how scary for your DD to have seen that crash! Glad YOU and DH are safe!

**SIGH** What the heck! He was injured in Afghanistan, served his country and he's not eligible for VA benefits????? Oh boy. That would make me furious.

Hope your DS is working thru his depression. It's such a demon to fight.

HUGS and prayers. Glad you're back.
