emoticon Whew, what a workout! Jillian is wonderfully challenging! Well I tried my best. Got most of the moves in the workout done. My arms are going to bust from all of those push-ups!!! would like to do some more bicycle crunches today... my abs could really use the extra effort! I just do not want to ever do it. I already feel like I am going to vomit. ( I think it is because I am on 2 new (but only temporary) medicines for a few days) Or I could have just plain "overdone" it.

My mom told me a little trick she heard years ago from her old doctor. When it feels like your heart is going to leap out of your chest, push and grunt like you are going to have a bowel movement and it will bring your rate down some or whatever it does to help.... do you think that really works?

I will post on the fitness message board too, to see what the experts have to say if they do. For those of you whom may be interested in hearing their reply. Good Day to ya'll

    Thanks for the warning! I could see fainting to occur if that happened. I have a heart rate monitor but when I wear it, I develop a horrible rash around the torso from the straps. I may have to wash the straps, cover them, or just replace them. I don't remember what brand I got but it dings whenever my heart rate goes too high.

    It is possible that I could lose up to 20lbs. with 30 day shred in just 30 days. Incredibly Brilliant!!

    I love Jillian's workouts! Haven't done 30 day shred all the way through for 30 days, but I do use that workout a lot. I love that it is a shorter time, but intense! Good for you! Keep at it and you will be amazed at the results you get!

    well there is a medical term called for that. I can't remember what the nurse said it was, but she said be careful to use that technique due to the fact that it brings you heart rate Way down, and don't go too far down. She also said I am exercising to get my rate up, but she really didn't say anything about overdoing it. She also said I could invest in a HRMoniter....I did thru amazon. Polar T4 sounded good due to me working out with videos. Some HRMoniters are used for running and biking and imagine walking too. Cant remember if I got the T4 or is it T7, but it is pink and purple. But I would be careful with that technique the act like you are pooping one. Because you can go too low too fast. Thanks jen

    Interesting! My heart rate spikes a lot. I do a lot of walking but if I jogged not even 50 steps, my heart is racing. I will give it a try...just hope I don't have an accident! LOL
