Well, I have both good news and not so good news to report. Good News: I have been able to maintain my 10.4 pound weight loss. YEAH! Also, I have been able to maintain my workout sessions. Except for Sunday, I was so sore from my regular workout plus completing the holiday weekend challenge. Last Monday, July 1, I changed my workout routine. (SPARK suggests the every 4 to 6 weeks; we should change our workout routine). Instead of completing miles with Leslie Sansone DVDs each day, I started doing the HipHop ABS with Beachbody workout program. There is a 2 month workout guide. I hope and pray I will be able to keep it up once school starts again.
As you can tell from my previous blogs, I have really struggled. For the month of June and the last 2 weeks of May, I was walking about 5 miles a day 5 to 6 days a week, watching my calorie intake and everything. Yet, I was having no real success except for my endurance levels. LOL. After emailing with a SparkCoach and talking to a health friend here in town, we all think I was working out too much and not eating enough so I was starving my body. Sadness! But Praise the Lord; things are starting to look up.
Now the not so good news: Since I am finally on summer break my water intake has decreased and the amount of sleep I am getting has decreased too. While I was working, I was able to down the water and get my 10 cups in each day, but for the past week I have been only able to get like 4 cups a day, max. Urg. I have changed my personal challenge for this week to drink 8 cups a day. I am going to get my 8 cups in today. I have 2 more cups to go. Also, even though I have been tracking all or most all of my fitness, I have stopped tracking my nutrition the last week or so. But, I am trying to start back up again. It is really hard when I am just putting random things together.
For right now, my three main goals are continue to lose weight, get my water intake in, and learn to cook.
