Tech Difficulties

Monday, July 08, 2013

Both my cell phone (arbitrarily goes into airplane mode or just shuts off - even in the middle of a call) and my WiFi hot spot, that I use in pt. homes, are on the blink. I went to the store after work to get them working again and was told they both need to be replaced! Fortunately, they are under warrenty. Unfortunately, I was told that it will be 3 - 4 days until the replacements arrive. It is such an inconvience as I can't access pt. records while in the home, have to take 'paper' notes and then transcribe them later!
I just keep reminding myself, this too shall pass.
On the positive, I did call and am getting credit on my bill.

I'm glad you are getting a credit.

I know my daughter has to do a lot of stuff with her work computer for patient info, etc.

Technology....it's supposed to make everything easier...except when it makes things harder-LOL. Sorry for the inconveniences you are experiencing, hope it gets resolved quickly!

I know that it is an inconvenience. I can only speak for myself in knowing that it is a test to see how I will respond. Will my flesh get in the way or will His light shine through me? Or is there someone that The Lord wants me to encourage, smile at, or help? I try to look at these "interruptions" as "divine appointments" and when I do it makes me joyful knowing that everything that comes into my life has filtered down through His fingers like drops of gentle rain. Patience will have its work done in me & so with endurance comes perfection by way of Him. Easier said than done but I keep reminding myself that there is a reason, in order that I might be a blessing to some one else. Hope your phones are taken care of and that times of refreshing might continue to rain upon you. Take care. Hugs!
