Ok, so I was really excited by my grocery savings last week and I've been learning how to coupon at CVS for non-food essentials and I had to share this weeks deal! My posts lately will probably be more about coupons than health/fitness because I'm bored of blogging about what I eat and what workout I did. LOL. I'm excited about my coupons, so that's what I'll write about. So anyway....
So, here's the breakdown for this week! I hit up CVS to score some great deals advertised in conjunction with the P&G brandsaver ad that came out in yesterday's newspaper and I really scored some great deals on some much needed products!
I was really excited about my purchases at CVS tonight! I got 78.00 worth of merch. for 23.64 but here's the fun part.... the cashier gave me back 23.00 worth of extra bucks!!! I paid 0.64+tax net for (2) pantene shampoo (2) pantene conditioners (4) CG eyeshadows (2) dawn dish liquids (1) colgate total toothpaste 2-pk (1) oral B tooth brush (1) colgate total 4 oz. paste (1) colgate rinse - 32 oz. (1) schick shave gel (1) edge shave gel (1) fusion shave gel (1) always radiant pad -16 ct.
I was in a panic before the lady scanned my CVS card my total was almost $80.00!!! After she scanned my card the total dropped to 60.05. I was still nervous, because I didn't have 60 bucks to spend at CVS! I thought I must have miscalculated. Then, I handed over my coupons
(2) B1G1 Pantene
(2) 1.50 off covergirl
(1) 4.00 off 2 CG eye products (found in this month's cosmo)
(2) 0.25 off dawn dish liquid
(2) 0.75 off colgate toothpaste
(1) 2.00 off 32 oz colgate rinse
(1) 0.55 off skintimate shave gel
(1) 0.75 off schick shave gel
(1) 2.00 off always radiant pad
Plus my CVS coupons:
(1) $4 off $12 in beauty
+11.50 in extrabucks from last weeks deal
Got back: 23.00 in ECB! :D :D
I came home and I was THRILLED and my husband says, "So, you still spent $23.00?"
Me: "But I got 23.00 back!"
My husband: "Ok, well.. did you have fun?"
Me: "Uhm! yes!"
Him: "good, then I'm happy for you!"
He doesn't quite get it yet, but once we stop having to go to walmart every single day for shampoo, tp, laundry soap... he'll see! LOL :P :P
