I'm happy to report that day one of "operation: back on track" has gone wonderfully!
I started the day by turning off my alarm and sleeping in an extra hour on accident. BUT I didn't let it derail my plans. I had thankfully allotted some excess time so I still squeezed in about 20 minutes of working out before work. (YAY!)
Had a good day at work, tracked my eating pretty well and then had a hardcore half-hour workout after work. I have never pedaled so hard on a stationary bike! Phew!
I'm struggling a little with the eating side of things. I'm right at my target calorie range but still want to snack. I know a good part of it is just habit but UGH it's hard habit to break! It doesn't help that I have to eat gluten-free now which, despite the myth that it is a diet trend, can pack on even more calories. GF bread and pancakes and such are more calorie heavy than their gluten-full counterparts. Boo!
In any case, Today's Success:
• Work-out pre-work
• Killer cardio post-work
• Tracked food despite having fries at lunch and such
How's everyone else going? Rocking it out? I bet you are!
