Setting goals

My big goal is to lose 67 lbs. Today I set my mini goals. My goodie for doing well will be a new makeup item every week. By doing well I mean staying on track. If I don't improve one week because I splurged no makeup! Mini goal treat will be shoes or accessories like scarves, hats, or sunglasses. Something fun that I can wear even after meeting my big goal. The big goal will be skinny jeans with boots!

As small as a tube of lipstick or something like that may be, I have gotten used to not buying myself things lately. When I see a pretty eyeshadow I often tell myself I don't need it, but it is a small treat that I can afford to give myself that is not food. Makeup helps with my self confidence and I think that is very important.

    Thanks Stephanie! I get really excited when I can buy my reward each week. And funny how a new color of lipstick or something like that can make you feel sassy! I agree with you on the boots which is why I haven't bought myself any. That and good boots are pricey! So saving that for the big reward. Thanks for commenting!

    I love that you're using very practical rewards. I also love the big reward as skinny jeans, and boots -- love that style, but seems like you have to be thin to pull it off!!
