Only... yano...120 or so to go....but progress is progress!

Slow and steady 1.75 miles today. I am really hungry today! Worried about going over my calories! GAH!

    I am doing interval training for a 5k obstacle race in december. I basically do one 5 mile walk/run a week, then 1.75 miles the next day along with crosstraining and strength training, then 3.5 the next day, then just strength and CT the next day, then 3.5, then 1.75 w/CT and strength, and one day of rest. I ran in high school, so I am basically building up to that again...should never have gotten this out of shape! Thanks for the encouragement!

    Are you walking? I am doing the SP 5K Your Way Walking program! I LOVE it!!! I am up to 2.5 miles a day now! I'm walking on a treadmill at the gym. I'd rather walk outside, but it's either too hot or unsafe to walk alone (Sacramento, CA). I have 2 more weeks to go on this program then I hope to try the Walk/Jog program. Never in my life did I ever think I even would consider jogging, but I'm gonna try!!!
    anyway, enough about me! this is YOUR blog!!
