Long Overdue Update!

I promise I am still on Spark. It's hard to go thru my friend feed but I try to keep up with blogs and I still check in with my 5% team every day. The Spring into Summer 5% challenge just ended. I actually gained about a pound. Not good. But we'll be starting the Summer challenge and I am returning to the Starfish team as weigh-in leader. I haven't posted our final results yet, but we had a good chunk of the team lost their 5% or close to it! So inspiring! I want to be one of them next time
Last Tuesday I signed up for Weight Watchers online for 3 months to start. Conveniently, I have just over 3 months until the wedding. WW is pretty different from when I last did it (late high school and into college). But so far I am liking it. It's a weird feeling to go from low/semi-low carb to counting points. But I love fruit so I think I'm a bit happier now :-)
So I am mostly just tracking on WW site now. prior to that I had mostly been tracking on MFP. I like MFP tracker, WW for the new plan but I love SP for the friendships.
This week should be a fun one, despite being a full week at work-- on Wednesday I am going to see Queen Latifah (I LOVE HER in case you didn't know) at the Hollywood Bowl. Then on Sunday we're having our fifth meeting of the Queen Latifah Movie Club and watching JOYFUL NOISE. Next Tuesday is our 8 year (dating) anniversary ... so we might go for a dinner on Saturday or something since John sometimes has to work late. We'll see.
I've been doing the Pop Physique class about once a week. it is very hard for me as I am not a flexible person. Also, I simply can not do many of the moves because of my stomach/chest getting in the way. Like when she wants me to reach across my body to the bar a certain way and then do these leg moves/etc... my boobs just get in the way and I have to modify but then she'll tell me I'm doing it wrong. Well I'd rather do something than just stand there doing nothing because my body is not the same type as these ballet girls. But I kinda like it. I definitely get a good sweat on even though it isn't cardio. Also if anyone watched that show "Felicity" when it was on, Amanda Foreman (her "weird" roommate, Meghan) is sometimes in my class :-)
Anyway, that's really all that's going on regarding my health. Hopefully next time I'll blog I'll be able to say I've lost a few lbs!
