I've had a bit of trouble settling on goals for July. I think that's because it's my birthday month, and at this time of year, I really start thinking about the next 12 months instead of the next four weeks. I couldn't just coast, though, so here are a couple of goals:
Increase the daily 20 minutes of cardio goal to 30 minutes.
Keep aiming for 80 oz. of water each day.
Start strength training again. Aiming for 11 strength workouts for the rest of July.
Not a lot of goals, but I'm working on increasing the consistency. I found an old chart I'd done while I was cleaning yesterday. It measured the number of days I tracked, how often I met my goals... It was awesome! I was really motivated back in 2009!
I've got to keep the momentum up.
What gets monitored gets done...
