So, What Are You Going to Do with Your Month?!?

Monday, July 08, 2013

I've had a bit of trouble settling on goals for July. I think that's because it's my birthday month, and at this time of year, I really start thinking about the next 12 months instead of the next four weeks. I couldn't just coast, though, so here are a couple of goals:

emoticon Increase the daily 20 minutes of cardio goal to 30 minutes.

emoticon Keep aiming for 80 oz. of water each day.

emoticon Start strength training again. Aiming for 11 strength workouts for the rest of July.

Not a lot of goals, but I'm working on increasing the consistency. I found an old chart I'd done while I was cleaning yesterday. It measured the number of days I tracked, how often I met my goals... It was awesome! I was really motivated back in 2009! emoticon

I've got to keep the momentum up.

What gets monitored gets done...

    I love those goals!
I am planning to break this plateau into tiny bits.
Do my first 5km since I got really fat.
Eat more f&v.

May you reach every goal!
Bless you

I like your goals. I feel much better succeeding at small goals than struggling at big ones.

    1. Keep track of my feelings when I eat. I really need to work on it

2. Attend 2-3 PC Fit classes at my gym a week - on non-PC Fit days, work on C25K

3. Water... more water

Happy Birthday Month!

July is my birthday month as well! : ) And I love your last sentence, "What gets monitored, gets done." Keep it up!
