Stress and boredom eating help:
What I do is have a list of go to things that I really like to do. This will alleviate stress and boredom. Here are a few things from my personal list:
Call a friend to talk or get together
Rent a movie
Color my hair
Manicure by me or a salon
Pedicure by me or a salon
Get my hair cut
Make plans on my calendar
Play with my pets
Go Goodwill shopping for bargains
You get the drift, but nothing you don't looked should be on the list ever. That would add to stress.
Then have a list of free foods for yourself. These should be filling and low cal.
If you must eat, eat from this list you make up.
My list includes all I want of:
Broth based soup
My favorite go tos are celery and watermelon. Most filling snack? Apple with 2tbs microwaved(10 sec) peanut butter as a dip. Protein+fiber=fuller longer.
Resolve all real physical hunger with a balanced meal. Your body deserves it.
