Continuing with Juicing...4th of July weekend!

I am sooo happy that its been a month (06-05-13) since Ive started juicing, I started with a small glass to get my body use to all the vegetable(s) flavor(s), because at first its not as easy as it sounds, I been juicing for the last month and it seems as if it was yesterday when I first bought my first bunch of kale!

The first step for me was to start getting use to (digesting) the juices that I was making for myself before starting to diet... Instead I decided to eat smaller portions of my regular food and then implement a stricter diet on myself within the upcoming months because to be honest I am not a "diet" person, so I didnt wanted to feel deprived while juicing. A month later Ive made my juicing into a morning and only sometimes into a night habit, which every time I drink the veggie/fruit juices I actually enjoy them instead of thinking that I have to drink them in order to be healthier.

Now for breakfast I drink a veggie juice which fulfills me for about 3 or 4 hours without feeling the urge to keep eating every hour or so, I am just sooo happy that I was able to keep up with juicing, which was something that I didnt expect to keep up with, I am sooo happy emoticon.

For this 4th of July weekend my juicing habit helped me make healthier choices to keep my progress going, I went to buy 100% whole wheat hamburger buns bread instead of just getting the regular brand that I used to buy... Instead of getting the delicious regular bacon, I got the turkey bacon, which was pretty decent to eat with my hamburger. It may not seem like a big change, but it is for me, before I didnt care about wheat or white bread, now I think twice before eating something that is not going to be healthy for me.
My juicing progress has been my main focus since I started and just dont wanna give that up by eating something I shouldnt...Throughout this weekend I walked/jogged more than expected without forcing my body, it just felt so good to be able to wake up early in the morning to go jogging even if I didnt had to go to work, yay!
My motivation is still within me and I am soo glad for that, juicing has given my the energy to keep me going emoticon emoticon

    Thanks Barbanna,

The problem with me is that I cant really be in a diet, I have to work into that to be able to incorporate SP diet + juicing...

For this moment I am focusing on juicing until making it a part of my lifestyle and not just a habit... emoticon

    Not sure what value juicing has when you can follow the SP diet and do fine. GOOD LUCK!
