Made some changes to the pop-up blocker. Today I have noticed that the ads on SP are back to the way they used to be (before the crazy out of control flashing ads). So I feel hopeful that things will be back to normal here!
I did a shorter workout today (40 minutes on the elliptical). Then I went back to the pool where DS was practicing. I've gotten to know a few of the moms better this year and three of us were chatting. They know I've been exercising while the team swims. We discussed how difficult it can be to make time for our exercise with the kids' busy schedules. One mom said she plans to join the swim team next year just to get the exercise. I said I thought about it this year, but I was too nervous to join. Now she's on a mission to get all three of us on the team next year!

Now that I'm more comfortable about the swim meets it seems like a good time to work on getting more comfortable with swimming. I think that will be my next personal challenge.

One of my team challenges ended on Saturday. While I didn't make my goal, I did lose weight. So I'll consider that a victory.

WOWEEEEE LOOK at all of those VICTORIES!!

1. Confronting your frustration with the ads not by leaving us (we'd SO MISS YOU!), but by defining the issue + actively seeking a solution + finding and considering at least one solution + apply solution = RESULTS. It's just like you're doing on your journey. Just like anything you want in life. It takes work, effort, conscious monitoring, goal setting, and celebration of goal! BONUS! You get to continue to reap the benefit of the awesomeness of your Spark Friends! =)

2. Look at that great victory about talking to the other Mom's about your fitness routine and desires!! That shows the CONFIDENCE which flourishes when we stick to a routine. And now... you've SPARKED those women to take action on their own health! You've inspired others to take an active role in their health and to stop saying, "some day" and make some day happen TODAY!

3. Sharing this story to PROCLAIM these awesome victories of yours (gotta celebrate every single VICTORY!) and you have also SPARKED others to maybe talk about their fitness with others; to use their time at kids events (and other life events - standing in line, waiting in any situation (Dr ofc, nail salon, DMV, lunch line) to get in a some fitness or if you have enough time - make it a work out....WOW!

4. PLUS you lost weight during the challenge!! WOO HOO! Definite victory!!

Great post!! =)

Hey! I'm considering it a victory that you may have conquered the pop up problem! I was concerned that you'd leave us, but certainly understood your situation.

You're still losing weight and carving out some time for you! Now THAT'S success! Truly!

Your new swimming endeavor sounds great. You should feel good that you've started some kind of a healthy trend here! I hope it works out.

In the meantime -- just look at you GO!!! emoticon emoticon
