A definite case of the Mondays

Monday, July 08, 2013

No matter how long of a break from work, it never seems long enough. I am dragging this morning!

I had a great 4 day weekend. My Mom came to visit and we went shopping at the outlet mall, watched fireworks, and just hung out. I had a really fun time shopping - I guess it is more fun to shop for clothes when you can shop where you want to, rather than being limited to the stores that have your size. I did fairly well with my eating. I did split a funnel cake with my husband, but I'm not worrying over it. I only eat a funnel cake once a year at the 4th of July carnival, so no big deal. I slacked off completely on exercising, but I got back to it this morning.

I'm not thrilled that it is Monday already, but I admit that I am glad to be back to the routine. It is much easier for me to get my exercise in when I am on a schedule.

It sure is rough getting back to work after a long weekend. I'm glad you enjoyed your annual funnel cake! Yumm!

I need my routine as well. I am lost without and it and tend to make horrible decisions.
