Lulu and I went for the long run this morning. It was not easy. I struggled right from the start. That probably lead to more walking breaks than I would have had otherwise.

But we didn't give up. We got it done. 4.5miles in total. My knee was twinging a little, but I am wondering if it's not a mental thing. I spent the run focusing on how my knee was rotating/moving. It would only twinge for a fraction of a second, then quit. I think it may be from increasing my mileage so fast. Luckily the next couple of days are easier ones - and lower miles. But I'll keep an eye on it.

    Aside from it being Monday for everyone else, and your schedule is different, struggling on Day Off has always been a reality for me. You pushed through it, and that is often the hardest part. There are a lot of things I haven't done since My Guy died, and I know "pushing through" a specific task is usually how I can get through it.

You WILL win this battle, but only if you want it enough. And I know you do. :-D
