It's frustrating how willpower can just go to the wind!

Yesterday my husband's family had tickets to a Reds game - I like baseball, but not particularly the teams that were playing (I'm from NY, so I'm a Yankees-Girl), either way that is a recipe for willpower testing as I end up focusing more on what vendors are walking by than whats actually going on at the field.

IT WAS HOT. I swear, I lost 20 lbs from sweat. Right in the sun, I can't even tell you how disgusting and melty I felt! So of course this requires a beer. Nice cold one! Started out with Bud Lights (hey it was light). Coupled with the hot blazing sun it ended up going to straight regular Budweiser.

Next thing I know pizza gets involved.

Kicking myself. KICKING. Nobody to blame but myself. And Anheuser-Busch. And possibly the Cincinnati Reds too.

Ah well, start of a new week, start of a new chance to get back on track!!

That's a tough situation to be in for sure! Well look at it this way -- don't let a one day splurge turn into a week long trend (or worse!). Just time to move on and make the most of today and this week. Sounds like a fun time though.

I hear you. I was at the Yankee game last Sunday. My husband got tix from a friend. Right field in the sun at the beginning of this heat wave we just had. Not a Yankee fan, but hubby is. I ate so much which is the reason I am above goal this week. Oh well. It was fun. Sounds like you have a plan in the place so I would not worry about it too much. Keep up the good work!

Forget about willpower at a football or bb game! My favorite is loaded nachos!

Ugh, baseball games are my achilles heel, too!

Stop kicking yourself. Start planning what you might do differently in a similar situation the NEXT time. Then let it go. I certainly HOPE you enjoyed them, because wasting energy and positive efforts on regret and sucking the energy out of an indulgence is really sad. You are already moving on so LET IT GO.
