Weekend - not so good, but not too bad

I find weekends really difficult. I really benefit from a routine so Mondays to Fridays are easy. But then the weekend rolls around and I just eat the whole time. I also exercise more, but still.
This weekend I also ate more than I planned, but most of the things I ate were healthy. Some of the things were not, but what's done is done, today is a new day.
I went to visit my inlaws yesterday and my mother-in-law had just finished slaughtering one of her cows. She gave us about 5 kilos of meat. Spiced sausages, mince, beautiful cuts. Our freezer is stocked. And in a few weeks the dried meat (biltong!) will be finished and we can take some of that as well.
After reading so many articles about the miracle that is warm water and lemon juice in the morning, I have decided to give it a go. I just had my first glass on an empty stomach and it tastes okay so I think it will be easy to do. Especially as we have a giant lemon tree in our backyard. I wonder if it really will be as great for my skin, weight loss and everything else as the articles claim.
I can now do 2 proper pushups! So today my goal is to do three.
