I weighed in today...a day early...I'm trying to stick to Sunday/Wednesday weigh ins, but I get antsy. I notice that weight loss time goes faster when I don't weigh is easier to see progress over more days in between. Anyway, I weighed in on Saturday and it was SO motivating! I hit below 170! I'm finally in the 160s (barely at 169.8, but I'll take it!). I remember when I was losing two years ago the low 170s seemed impossible to shake. I am happy to have burst through!

Oddly, I am having the problem of not eating enough during the day and getting grumpy. I'd like to not rely so much on dinner for calories. I'm definitely getting really full from a lot smaller portions. I never ate just a half of a sandwich at a restaurant, but two nights ago I was totally stuffed after half, so I stopped. I hope I can just stick with it this time and not lose motivation. Doing well so far!

Thanks Layne! NICE WORK!!! It is awesome to get into the swing of things and feel progress. I totally know what you mean about the portions. Sometimes I freak out if I feel like I didn't order enough, I always order way too much, but I am so worried about not feeling satisfied! Very odd. But less is nice! I think my ultimate goal is 140, but we will see how I feel as I get closer to that and what feels realistic.

AWESOME!! I have been doing well for about a month now and am noticing the same things - feeling full after a MUCH smaller amount of food. It's so funny - I serve myself what I should eat and think oh man I'm going to be so hungry still, and then I eat it and I can't believe how full I am.. Trying to get back used to eating normal portions! Breaking into the 160's is amazing!!! What's your ultimate goal?
