It's been quite a while. I got to slacking really badly while I was transitioning jobs and then I switched my workload at my new job...It's just been crazy, and I allowed myself to put my health on the backburner because of it. NOT COOL.
As I sat here counting backwards I realized I haven't lost any weight in around 8 months. That's 8 months of slacking! That's 8 months where I could have been down another 32 pounds easy! Ugh it makes me sick to my stomach to think I let it get that far!
So I'm dusting off my hands and getting to work for real this time. I've reevaluated my challenges and am gonna push forward and through them.
I feel like I need a major push to get me going, I started a little bit last week but this week I'm really gonna crank it up. I am going to force myself (notice I didn't say try there – I started typing "try" but said to hell with that I AM doing it!) to get out of bed early and do a workout pre-work and then head to the gym right after work. I have zero excuse not to workout now that we finally have the new building at work completed and the gym is up and fully functioning. Not that I ever had a really great excuse before...
I have one or two friends who will be an asset in helping me with this, but I'll need all the help I can get! I'm definitely gonna be leaning on the wonderful sparkers on here. You have been officially warned.
