Injury yesterday - Time off today

I didn't run this morning. I decided before I fell asleep last night. My knee was still aching when I went to bed.

It was much better this morning, but I stuck to it. I took today off of running. It is not worth pushing an injury. I am off work tomorrow morning - I don't start until 1pm. I can do my long run in the morning.

I really hate doing a long run right after a day off. I have issues getting back to running after a day off. I am still partially debating going out for under a mile today. Just to keep it from being way too hard tomorrow morning. But then I realize I went for a bike ride today. I'm tired. And it's not worth risking my knee today. I'll take it easy, and give it all I can tomorrow morning.

I watched what I ate today, and with the bike ride this afternoon, I should have close to a 1500 calorie deficit. I am 30grams low on carbs. I think I'm going to do what I can to close that gap tonight. Maybe some frozen yogurt with home canned fruit. I'll have to see how many carbs I can gain, and how many calories that will use up. It needs to be worth the trade off.

Ah. Just looked it up. 200 calories, and 44grams of carbs. I think I'll be doing that tonight.
