On our last day in Seattle, my sister and I walked around Green Lake (which is 3 miles). We also went to Swansons' Nursery where we had breakfast and brought some seeds for my mom to plant. We found so many different types of sunflowers seeds for her. I also brought some for myself. They had ponds in the nursery where they had fish - it looks like the fish is throwing us kisses (he just wanted something to eat). On our last day it poured for about 10 minutes - it was hard and cold. All the time we were there in Seattle it did not rain. The pictures of the city is what I took from the car going to the airport.
We had so much fun with my sister - it was good to see her - I told my sister I would be back to visit. Miss her
I normally am not a fan of cities but it looks so nice there. Peaceful for a city. A lot of green spaces. I guess it rains a lot there so you are lucky it waited until you left. 1687 days ago
Love your pictures. You sure got in your exercise. The lake is so peaceful looking. Love the Koi Fish jumping out of the water. It wanted your camera lol. Lots of colorful flowers. Always makes a walk enjoyable. How are your Sunflowers coming along? 1687 days ago
Oh girl, how lucky and exciting that you could go to Seattle! I'll say it over and over again! I still miss it over and over again! Probably will forever even after being there. Every pictures looks so beautiful. The rain too! I kind've forget how often it rained and the trouble we had with it, so it looks more appealing than ever to me now! I love the flower pictures too and all. With growing up, we could grow so many more and different flowers than here in MN, and I miss them. The Rhododendron the most! I've tried 2x over the years and gave up! Also, I have trouble with the azaleas back here too. And so many others, but I'm just thankful for what I can grow and they can look so beautiful too! Like we can bloom where we're planted! Thanks you for sharing and I hope that you have a nice week-end too! 1687 days ago
