I set some pretty crazy goals for myself to achieve during my 2 week vacation.
1. Workout min. 3 x week.
2. Lose 2 pounds so I am finally in the 110's instead of 120's
3. Continue eating a 90/10 paleo diet.
I am 2 weeks into my 4 week vacation, and here is where I stand.
I haven't done an actual workout since I got here. :( however I walked Disneyland and universal studios for 4 days, and universal has this horrific set of escalators, which we decided to ignore and ran the stairs instead. Horrible horrible idea.
you can only see three of the 4 in this picture. While we were waiting in line at Disneyland we did burpees and push-ups. So I got a little exercise in. Starting tomorrow I am doing a. Bootcamp for the remainder of my vacation time. My bootcamp at home starts tomorrow so I don't want to get behind. I actually miss working out.
2. Lose 2 pounds
I have no idea how I am doing on this one. When I got to my mom's I weighed in at 121.4 but she said her scale varies as much as 2 lbs. Yesterday I weighed in at 119.4 hurray. I love her scale lol! It definitely inspired me to be good about my diet. While I doubt I am actually 119.4 lbs, just seeing that number when I stood on the scale was a MOMENT!!!
3. 90/10 paleo
Fail- I did perfect in Idaho, perfect in Utah, but California was harder. I Think I cheated at least once a day. A few chips at universal, and pizza for dinner ( I was past hungry) A pineapple whip day 1 of Disneyland, day 2 I ate a churro, day 3 a mint julep and half a benyť . So while it wasn't perfect I did not regret eating them. ......oh wait I had a half a root beer float too lol! Pretty sure my Mom's scale is wrong.
So while my goals aren't being met like I planned it out in my head, I am doing amazing for being on vacation, and NOT having and goals would have been disastrous.
Motivation/ Positive feedback.
I have gotten so many compliments from family and friends.
The best have been from people who say they are tracking my progress through my Facebook posts. It inspires me to keep going knowing people are cheering me on. I am taking it off 1 ounce and an 1/8 of an inch at a time.
My original weight-loss goal was 115lbs. I figured that with muscles that would be a good goal weight, but now I am about 5 lbs from my goal and I still have so much fat to lose. Do I reset my goal to 110 or wait until I reach 115 lbs and then change it?
My face has thinned out even more....Whoo hoo!
