Everybody! I can't believe its been over a month since I posted a blog.
I am nearing the end of my 10 weeks of pregnancy
. I can't wait for this trimester to end so that I can get some of my energy back.
How did I finally tell the hubby- well I created I collage of baby pics and gave it to him. He just laughed and was amazed it happened so fast. We had only been trying for a little over a month. My son was upset because he was scared that the baby would take over and no one would pay him any attention. But now he ask every day about the baby and has become extremely protective of me.
My body is changing and I have lost my waist- I worked really hard to find it so it was kind of emotionally hard for me to see a round belly again. I have gained about 6 pounds but I noticed this week that my appetite is starting to regulate itself so that will help with me gaining non-baby weight. I put my scale in the closet and don't plan on getting back on until after the baby is born.
I was doing Billy Blanks 24/7 PT until about 3 weeks ago. I had to stop because it was too strenuous for to keep doing. I started walking during lunch ( 1-2 miles) to keep active. Last week I ordered a new DVD "The Pregnancy Project" and I am going to start it today. There is a different DVD for each month of pregnancy so this should be interesting.
Although I am pregnant I still have goals for July around my health and fitness so here they are.
1. Walk as much as possible (weather permitting)
2. Complete 3 sessions of the Pregnancy Project DVD per week
3. Make healthy choices as much as possible
4. Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day
