Wednesday morning (7/3/13) was my 11th weigh-in. This week, my goal was to lose at least 1.5 pounds, so I could finally make it to the 15 pounds lost mark. I wasn't sure how it was going to go since I had a bad dinner (Chick-Fil-A) the night before the weigh in.
So when I stepped on the scale, I was happy to see that it dropped from 278.5 to 277 pounds. So I met my mini-goal and finally lost 15 pounds. My average weight loss per week is now 1.36 pounds.
Looking back at Week #11, my exercise was just ok. I walked 16.6 miles and did 60 minutes of spinning. There was just so much going on during the week, that I didn't have the opportunity to get a lot of exercise in each day, but I did get SOME exercise in on most of the days. I also wanted to get some more weight training in. I only got one day in this past week though it was a very intense session.
Week #11 food was ok. Aside from my one Chick-Fil-A meal, I didn't eat horribly, I just ate heavily.
So overall, Week #11 was good for the most part. Actually, given my subpar exercise and eating, I am VERY happy with my results. Time to adjust that weight loss ticker down and get my trophy for 15 pounds lost.
Week #12 will be a challenge. I'll be on vacation at the beach for nearly 5 days. Exercise won't be too difficult, but eating healthy will. And I won't have access to a scale until I get back home on Sunday night. We'll see how it goes. I am extremely happy to be getting away though
