Ugh... let me sleep!

Sunday, July 07, 2013

I don't know if it's my allergies kicking my butt right now, or if I'm getting sick. Either way I'm completely exhausted, granted I haven't gotten much sleep the last two nights. And to top it off, Joe's been sick for the last week. And since he's been sick he's been sweating like crazy so his room has felt like a freaking igloo and work right now isn't any different.

The more weight I lose, the colder I get. Kinda annoying.

I went over my calories yesterday by 500-600. I need to start figuring out those frozen meals because they aren't very satisfying. I'm actually kinda amazed I was able to feel full after one of those. It's also really obvious the difference between fresh and processed food now. You can eat soo much more food if it's fresh versus processed. So right now it's a combo of watching portion size and eating more fresh food so I can be fuller, and for longer.

I also noticed how nutrient deficient I am when my diet is those frozen meals. Even with my daily vitamin I'm taking I'm probably no where near what I should be getting with some vitamins. Which was kind of an eye opener last night. If I'm defiecient in any vitamins my body can't run as efficiently as it should. So I think I'm gonna start looking into what I'm getting from my food, and then take some extra supplements as needed until I can balance my diet out better.

I think I'm already starting to shed some of the weight from my vacation, I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Really wish I was somewhere warm right now.. though my bed would be even better.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

The eating part is the hardest for me too. I can never seem to get it quite right and it takes so much thought and planning. I think those frozen meals also have a lot of sodium. I think you are right that fresh food is the best way to go.

Yeah you just hit on the Head !! Nutritional values are truly different - plus you can eat more - cause the sodium is high in frozen- Just volunteered to the Iron Girl Triathlon in Prairie , WI in August !! I am a swim angel - lol hugs K - hope you guys feel better !
