    Yesterday was rainy so I walked indoors, but got in a mile and lots of running around the house! Diet pretty good so far, decided to do coffee instead of soda. Easier in the summer. Up early today to get bread made and some things together before I head to the garden for a good work out pulling weeds. Maybe some cleaning later. Have a great day everyone!

    You are not alone Mel. I broke last night after a trip to Costco and the boyfriend bringing home some cookie crisps:( Should have just slept but I had three instead. Lousy 60 cals was not worth it. Thought I owed you a coffee. Forgot about the get out of jail free card. Phew! Oh, and did some strength training. A mix of upper and lower. Nice:)

    Day 7 was fantastic on the nutrition department, and day 8 was not so great! used my "get out of jail card" and had hot fudge sundae with the kids amidst a really bad storm here. There was flooding downtown
I tried a new brand of some gluten free raisin bread ( which just did not do the trick)

It's okay, but you REALLY have to toast it well.

ON to day 9 !

    The ducklings are growing like weeds!!
Having "cruised" through the first week as we were traveling, it is great to be home and to get back into my routines again.
This morning was the most challenging yoga session of the lot but I managed without wobbling this time - progress! :)
Eating is still on track and I'm down to 134.5 this morning, nearly back at my posted weight and lower than I have been in about 6 weeks.
Off to get new hoses for the washing machine this morning - I need to do laundry but it needs to be fixed first.

    I was sugar and coffee free on Sunday. I have been
having Rooibos and peppermint tea today. Made
good food choices and went for a 90 minute walk, but
I am noticing my left ankle is very painful and a few
times I thought it could snap. I have to take it easy.

    Sunday I stayed sugar free. YAY! Did MORE yardwork (yardworked out now) and some slow treadmill. Oh and lots of sleep. Woohoo to all for conquering week 1!

    Monday - 8th day

Masses of clean up after Painter - put away materials etc
Gym - 1 hour Body Conditioning
1 hour walking with neighbour later

Making a concerted effort to drink as much water now as I do in the Summer
Still no hard yellow cheese in the house and it's easy to pass on the bread that's here for the student

Hmmm what's going to be for dinner? Check the freezer - what do I fancy?

Easy peasy - Scotch Salmon fillets - any leftovers can go into tomorrow's lunch

    Day 7 has been good. Just worked in the studio somehow doing pottery adds lots of steps to the pedometer. Gardening too.
The funny thing is that I had a girls night out already, before the assignment and we did meet for a healthy meal, tea and we talked about healthy eating/exercise plans for all of us! I'll send you a picture via email.
I'm staying motivated and feeling good. Hope things are going well fro everyone and that you will get lots of sunshine soon, Mel!
