A Day of Rest

After so much physical activity all week, hard work out in the sun, I am thankful for Sunday. Sunday is our day of rest, when my husband and I allow ourselves to take things easy, even take a nap if we want. Church in the morning, kids come over for lunch and maybe Scrabble or a movie. Maybe take the dog on a walk. I don't know how people do it who don't give themselves a break once a week. And I'm especially happy this Sunday morning, because I'm down another pound! That's 11 so far, since I joined SP on May 26th!

    It isn't always Sunday, but I also think a day of rest is helpful each week. The body needs some time to rebuild, the mind some time to clear. Congratulations on your weight loss to date!
