Today is weigh in day and I am starting to see some progress on the scale. YAY!!!!!!! I know this works and I know that is it hard but I also know I can get used to it. Last night was the first night I went to bed hungry. I ate all of my calories by 5, not because I was eating less, it was because of the time of my meals. I had breakfast as soon as I got up. I had lunch around 11am and Mom and Dad bought mussels and made them. Since they are always best hot, I ate my supper at 2:30. My 6:00 I was starving but was already on the lower end of my calorie limit. I had a greek yogurt which did me for a few more hours but was still hungry when I went to bed. No amount of water or tea helped. I was especially good to see the scale showing me some love this morning because I am starting a week that I am going to be doing some overtime. I need the extra motivation to keep to my workouts and keep fulfilling my goals. This will be a crazy, busy week but I will work my hardest. I have already arranged my workout schedule. Instead of doing 5 workouts, I will be doing 4 on the days I donít work 12 hrs. That is the only modification to this week. I have planned more on those four days to adjust. Good luck to all you out there who are pushing it.
You know youíre 80ís old school when you, if female, had a poster of Rob Lowe, Kirk Cameron, Michael J Fox, or Don Johnson on your wall. Ė Guilty as charged on all counts. And many more. TeenBeat had all kinds of posters and my room was plastered. Once I was in high school, I really tried to apply myself and they were covered with chemistry and biology notes. At that time I wanted to become a teacher. I was not particularly good at science or math but did okay because I worked at it. My mother was an English/Social Studies teacher and I wanted to do something different than that. I heard too many horror stories growing up. I figured if I taught science I would get the best students because the graduation requirements were 1 science instead of 4 English. I had three guys helping me through first year Chemistry at UPEI. I did all I could do to pass. I left school and travelled for a while and then went back and got my degree taking courses I enjoyed but had been so unfocused until Lavinia started school. I was volunteering in her school about 3 mornings a week and knew I wanted to go back to school and become a teacher. Because of custody issues, it took another three years for that to happen but now I did it and have graduated and am started a new teaching career. Whew, I really went on a tangent from those pre-teen days of posters on the wall. Also that was the last sheet left from the "old School" calendar Lavinia gave me two Christmases ago. Now I will have to find something else to comment on.
