new and old ways to avoid unconcious or anaesthetic eating...
THIS IS SO HARD
not giving up
in the words of my 3 yr old grandaughter

I do honestly feel Im making progress with myself despite the no show on the scales :)
Im certainly fitter..(though didnt feel that yesterday when we went fruit picking in blistering heat...well blistering for a large lady living in wild wet and windy wales )
still ...one step at a time.
Ive used food to calm me for so long now Im wondering if I ll ever find and use better ways.
eating comes so naturally ..of course.
I have however found this Sparkpeople site which has been such a learning place for me.
having joined every diet club ..kept most of them in business for the last 30 years..done every new diet on the market .,,starved myself over exercised....you name it Ive tried it...cabbage diet..egg diet..OH THE RESULTS WERE IMMENSE...in all sorts of nasty ways.
and my point is...I have learned so much since finding myself here , a lot of it about the thinking and feeling stuff. and nutrition..!! who d have thunk ! me learning something new and amazing helpful about food.exercise , wellness...love that.....and the inspiration to keep trying and improving.
so..here I am at the computer for my alloted 5 minutes and using the time wisely (instead of endless games of bejeweled..hahaha)
