Reset day 12, day 37 shaped up just fine.

Woke up nice and early to do my homework, and my son soon followed to work on HIS schoolwork at 7:30. (He's in a virtual academy, so his work is done on his schedule.) I was done by 8:30, and the kids were pressed into service helping me to clean. We got the whole living room spic and span, and I even vacuumed. (My husband was so proud. I usually wait until he vacuums, I dislike it so much.)
We had a lovely day by the pool with a good friend who has kids the same age as mine. The kids love to hang out, so they'll sleep well tonight, and I got some nice relaxing exercise in just hanging out, treading water and doing a few laps.
Home for dinner where the kids wanted to try a new veggie recipe out of my Ultimate Reset Cookbook. So we roasted some fennel. Not a fan favorite. I'll be trying it once more, just to make sure. It tasted okay, but just okay. Really, it was pretty tough and bland and I can't see whole lot of benefits over other veggies we know we like. The Chard was a big hit last night, so I think we'll do that one post reset for sure. I made the kids "turkey steaks" (Butterball in a bag frozen) and we had Quinoa-Lentil pilaf, so all was not lost, and I will not starve.
Off to finish up my homework (I left GOVT for tonight, cutting it close) and have my herbal tea before bed. Nice close to a wonderful long weekend.
