I watched the Nathan's national hotdog competition today from Coney Island. The winner, Joey Chestnut consumed 69 hotdogs and buns in 10 minutes. They call these guys athletes. How can indulging in binging be considered a sport. How sad is that?

I would be happy with two or three hot dogs (depending on the size) in 10 minutes emoticon .

very sad. just because something has been turned into a competition does not make it a sport.
