Day #76 - Spinning Again
Saturday, July 06, 2013
Still having the darnedest time trying to catch up on my blogging. I think right now, I'm about 5 days behind. lol, I'm sitting here in my hotel room at the beach trying to bang out this blog, before I head out to dinner. Anyway, let's talk about Monday, Day #76, 7/1/13.
Here's the exercise that I did Monday (7/1/13):
4.0 miles of walking - Monday's lunch walk was to Robert Latham Owen Park
Monday's lunch walk was interesting. I didn't really know where to walk, so I just started walking and I came across this beautiful fountain. It's located on the grounds of the DC Federal Reserve. The park is named after the US Senator that sponsored the Federal Reserve Act.
Monday evening, I decided to hit up the spinning class at LA Fitness again. It was fun and still very challenging. Plus it felt good because the instructor remembered me. I'm glad I got to the class before it started, because it ended up being full. I also felt great because I finished the entire class again (about 60 minutes with my warmup and cooldown). There were several people that were in a lot better shape than me that either couldn't or didn't stay through the whole class. So Monday was another great day!
