I have been away maintaining my weight loss with a super busy schedule. I wanted to freshen it up a bit with a workout dvd that I have been seeing on Instagram and FB. I have done all of my research and I wanted to give it a try as well. Before and after photos always pull me in to checking out a program and the Black Girls Workout TOO program has pulled me in to give it a try.
The program is a mother and daughter duo from Atlanta who own a popular gym. From the study statistics, they say over and over 4 of 5 black women are overweight. And I don't want to be a statistic. So I have the DVD and the meal plan (went tot he store and bought all of the groceries). Phase I is a detox of eating cleaning with a cabbage soup, a BGWT Chili and basically no MEAT for a week to 9 days. *NO EATING AFTER 9pm and NO COFFEE(let's see how this goes), eat all of the fruit you want, all the veggies too. Oh ya and fill yourself with brown rice, 2 cups per day are allowed! Phase II-reintroduce meat.
Last night, I tried the dvd without my weights and without starting the eating plan, just to give it a try. And I love it. I can not wait to keep informed and post pics.
