Oops! I didn't mean to go so long without posting a blog!
I'm not going to go over every WOD I've done for the past 3 weeks, but I've still been going consistently and trying to get my food back under control. I was doing really well until the 4th of July! The holiday is over and the leftovers are gone, so time to get back at it.
I PR'd my snatch during Oly class this week (78#)! My form was also MUCH better than when I hit 73# (which was pretty choppy, more like a power snatch + overhead squat).
Today was CrossFit for Hope, which is a Fight Gone Bad style workout:
3 rounds, 1 minute at each station with one minute rest between rounds:

Chest to Bar pull-ups
Last year my score was 162 and this year was 240. It sounds like a huge difference, but last year I used a band for the pull-ups, but this year to expedite the process since there were so many people, we scaled by doing jumping pull-ups, which I can do A LOT of. I did a lot better on the snatches than last year, but was pretty even on everything else. It was SO HOT in the gym, I thought I might die after the second round.
Afterwards we had a BBQ and a raffle. I won a $50 giftcard towards a massage! I can't wait to cash that in!
